Charlotte Dumont, a retired police psychic, is at first reticent about helping young Natalie Fabian find her boyfriend, Paul Lattamore, who disappeared without a trace. But the woman persists and Charlotte takes Paul’s personal effects into seclusion. She emerges with the information that he is alive, married and living somewhere in Colorado. Meanwhile, Paul Lattamore, under the protection of the Federal Witness Protection Program and hiding from the mob, paces the living room of his mountain cabin, his wife and kids fast asleep in the next room. When Charlotte learns that Natalie is really the daughter of Mafia don John “the Fist” Fabionne, and Paul is really the accountant who turned states’s evidence, she is launched into a terrifying cross-country chase, utilizing all her psychic gifts in order to save Paul and his family.
