RIGHTS OPTIONED TO ARTHUR HERZOG'S
BEST-SELLING BIOGRAPHY
VESCO: FROM WALL STREET TO
CASTRO'S CUBA, THE RISE
FALL, AND EXILE OF THE KING
OF WHITE COLLAR CRIME


CP Productions' Co-Chairs, Michael Cerenzie and Christine Peters, along with producer Eric Thompson and Richard Rice, have optioned the motion picture and television rights to Arthur Herzog's best-selling biography VESCO: From Wall Street to Castro's Cuba, The Rise, Fall, and Exile of the King of White Collar Crime. Bio pic follows the career of fugitive financier Robert Vesco, a notorious “big money” investor in the 1960s and 1970s, who stole $240 million from his backers and found himself on the run. After narrowly escaping capture in Costa Rica and the Bahamas, he ended up in Cuba, where he lives now, nearly broke.

Herzog's novels have a strong track record. The Swarm and Orca the Whale have already been adapted to film, and his novel IQ83 is currently in development at DreamWorks.

Peter Miller, President of PMA Literary and Film Management, Inc. negotiated the deal on behalf of Arthur Herzog. Michael Cerenzie, Christine Peters, and Graham Kaye, President of CP Productions will produce. Eric Thompson, Richard Rice and Peter Miller will executive produce.
