PMA Literary
and Film Management, Inc. offers internships on a part-time or full-time
basis to students interested in pursuing careers within the publishing
and film industries. Working in our Manhattan office offers a unique,
hands-on opportunity to learn the mechanics of these businesses from the
inside out.
Interns will
have the chance to critique and evaluate unpublished manuscripts and proposals,
as well as screenplays and teleplays. They will be expected to write coverage,
produce synopses and reviews, examine query ideas and engage with writers.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with the Windows environment, know
how to navigate the Internet and type at least 40 WPM.
All internships
are unpaid; however, upon successful completion, PMA will be happy to
offer a letter of recommendation and/or a letter for academic credit.
Hours are
flexible; please fax resumes to: Internship Coordinator (212) 206 - 0238
(please don't attach resumes to e-mails).
