The Thriller Field Gets Shattered!
PMA Literary and Film Management is proud to announce the selection of their long time client Jay Bonansinga's Shattered (2007, Pinnacle Books) as a Finalist for a 2008 Thriller Award in the Best Paperback Original Category. The Thriller Awards are presented and sponsored by the International Thriller Writers organization.
The winner will be announced at ThrillerFest on July 12th at a gala awards banquet at the Grand Hyatt in New York City. Finalists were chosen from a field of over 500 books. “I am so honored by this unexpected nod,” Bonansinga marvels from his office outside Chicago. “Some of the most interesting suspense fiction can be found in this underappreciated category, and it's an absolute treat to be included in this amazing group of writers.”
International Thriller Writers, Inc., was founded on October 9, 2004, at a meeting at the Bouchercon World Mystery and Suspense Conference in Toronto, Canada. Six months later, some 150 authors with more than one billion books sold worldwide had joined the organization as founding members. ITW membership includes Clive Cussler, Jonathan Kellerman, John Lescroart, David Baldacci, Dale Brown, Sandra Brown, Tess Gerritsen, Lee Child, Joseph Finder, Gregg Hurwitz, Ridley Pearson, Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child, R.
